Gains for Brains :: Darien vs. ESM Analysis
On April 27th, the Gains for Brains Tournament took place at Cold Spring Harbor High School. The tournament was created by Andrew and Lauren Rappaport, and it’s goal is to raise money for the Making Headway Foundation. 4/25: St. Anthony’s vs. Sacred Heart The atmosphere for the St. Anthony’s vs. Sacred Heart rivalry game at four sisters field was electric. The stands were absolutely packed for this clash between the top 2 parochial girls programs on Long Island. This game did not disappoint.
Waving Waves – String King Game of the Week – Northport vs. Riverhead Analysis
On Wednesday, April 24th, Northport hosted Riverhead in the Making Waves String King Game of the Week. This pre-season #1 vs. #2 match-up created an electric environment that drew a crowd in the hundreds. Fortunately for Northport fans, they came out to witness one of their team’s best performances of the year.

Army West Point Freshman Brendan Nichtern is absolutely RIPPING it up for the Black Knights. A Massapequa native, Nichtern is averaging just about 4.5 points per game with 49 points in 11 games.

The Founders Cup
The Founders Cup is presented annually by the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation (LIMLF) to the Most Outstanding Boys and Girls Varsity Lacrosse team in three sections: New York City, Nassau, and Suffolk. Catholic and private schools are included in the section in which they are located.
