FLG Summer Camp

Description

The FLG Summer Camp is a four-day camp held at the LIU Post – Brookville, NY, for boys and girls ages Kindergarten thru 8th grades.

FLG Lacrosse was founded on the goal to get boys and girls across Long Island to fall in love with the sport. At FLG Camp, a one-week summer day program, campers experience a fun, creative opportunity to work on fundamentals and skills in an encouraging and positive atmosphere. The camp is split into teams with campers competing throughout the week to earn points for their team. At the end of each day, our counselors recap the team’s performance and announce the FLG Lacrosse Camper of the Day.

Each day, Directors will receive an itinerary with lacrosse drills, color war activities and 2 designated snack breaks.

Snack

Campers will be allowed 2 snack breaks each day. Each snack break, campers will get 1 snack and 1 drink. Note: If a camper wants more than the allotted snack, we suggest bringing a bagged lunch each day

Snacks consist of:

  • Welch’s Gummy Snacks (12 gummies in each pack)
  • Chips
  • Chewy Bars (Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip)

Trainer

We will have a trainer on staff every day of camp. The trainer will assist with injuries, allergies, water jug refills and much more. If your son or daughter has a specific allergy or condition that the camp should know about, please see the trainer on the first day of camp and let them know. They will make sure to hold onto your child’s medicine through the duration of the camp.
