Description
The FLG Premier Showcase is the 1st recruiting showcase of the 2019 summer season. This is a one-day showcase event held at LIU Post – Long Island University, Brookville, Long Island, for rising freshman, sophomore, junior and senior lacrosse players looking to play at the next level.
Event Details
- All-day event
- Over 300 players in attendance
- Studletes from over 20 states across the country
- Over 75 D1, D2 and D3 college coaches in attendance, 48 college coaches hired to work the event all day
- Each studlete plays in 3 competitive games all coached by college coaches
- Coaching clinic prior to your first game
- Opportunity to make the Top 44 All-Star Game
- Players will be notified of their Team Number 1 week prior to the showcase
Format
- 10:00 am-Check In (Teams 1-6)
- 10:30 am-Practice on Field of 1st Game(Teams 1-6)
- 11:00 am-1st Game(Teams 1-6)
- 11:30 am-Check In (Teams 7-12)
- 12:00 pm-Practice on Field of 1st Game (Teams 7-12)
- 12:30 pm-1st Game (Teams 7-12)
- 1:30 pm-2nd Game(Teams 1-6)
- 2:30 pm-2nd Game(Teams 7-12)
- 3:30 pm-3rd Game (Teams 1-6)
- 4:30 pm-3rd Games (Teams 7-12)
- 5:45 pm-All Star Game *All Star Players will be Posted on Tourney Machine by 4:00pm
- In each age group, teams will be comprised of 20 to 22 male athletes. Teams will participate in 3 games throughout the day. College coaches will be coaching the teams, running the practices, refereeing games and recruiting during gameplay.
