Description
The FLG Legit Boys Showcase is a one-day individual event held at LIU Post – Long Island University, for the top rising freshman, sophomore, junior and senior lacrosse players. In each age group, teams will be comprised of 20 to 22 athletes. Teams will participate in 3 pool play games and the opportunity to play in an all-star game. Distinguish yourself by earning “legit” helmet decals or the honor of “String King Player of the Game” and you may find yourself playing in the All-Star game in front of over 75 college coaches!
Format
- 9:00 am-Check In (All Age Groups)
- 9:30 am- Practice (Teams 1 & 6 Field 1 | Teams 5 & 3 Field 2 | Teams 2 & 4 Field 3)
- 10:00 am- 1st Game (Teams 1, 3, 5, 6 )
- 11:00 am- 1st Game (Teams 2 & 4)
- 12:00 pm-2nd Game (Teams 1, 2, 5, 6)
- 1:00 pm-2nd Game (Teams 3 & 4)
- 2:00 pm- 3rd Game (Teams 1, 2, 4, 5)
- 3:00 pm- 3rd Game (Teams 3 & 6)
- 4:15 pm-All Star Game (2021/2022 Selected Players)*All Star Players will be Posted on Tourney Machine by 3:00 pm for 2021/2022 Players.
- 4:45 pm-All Star Game (2019/2020 Selected Players)*All Star Players will be Posted on Tourney Machine by 3:00 pm for 2019/2020 Players.
Event Details
- Over 200 Studletes were recommended or individually selected from 25 different states
- Coached by and observed by over 70 Division 1, 2 & 3 college and universities
- Players are given a shorts and pinnie
- 1 practice, 3 playing games, All-Star game.
