Brandon Mangan serves as the Event Sales Coordinator of FLG Lacrosse. In this position, he is responsible for the sale and marketing initials of all organizational clinics and showcases. An FLG alum, Mangan is also a coach for the FLG Boys 2020 team.
Mangan is a 2014 graduate from Yale University with a degree in political science and was a four-year member of the men’s lacrosse program. He finished his career with 99 goals (fourth) and 163 points (sixth). He helped lead the Bulldogs to the NCAA tournament in 2012 (First Round) and 2013 (Quarterfinals). In 2013, Mangan was a Tewaaraton Trophy candidate, USILA All-American (Honorable Mention) and Second-Team All-Ivy League, as well as First Team All-New England. His team leading 39 goals and 64 points in 2013 is a record for a junior at Yale.
Following his collegiate career, Mangan was drafted the New York Lizards (34th Overall Pick) in the 2014 Collegiate Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Draft. He played in four games and tallied three goals and one assist. He was acquired via trade to the Florida Launch for the 2015 season. Mangan was selected in the 6th round (52nd Overall) of the 2016 MLL Supplemental Draft and will play for the Ohio Machine this upcoming season.
Mangan starred at Wantagh High School where he was a four-year letterman and a captain his senior year (2010). In that same year, he was a First-Team U.S. Lacrosse All-American, Nassau County Player of the Year, Nassau County Attackman of the Year and was a member of the Nassau County finalist team. In his career, he tallied 195 goals, 333 points and was a three-time All-County selection. In 2009, Mangan was a member of the Under Armour Long Island Team.
Mangan resides in Wantagh, NY and is an assistant coach for boy’s lacrosse team at Farmingdale High School.
