Our Raider Lacrosse Academy serves two functions. They serve as a “prospect day” for those young men who have strong interest in Colgate University and Colgate lacrosse.
These events are also designed for players who are interested in developing their lacrosse skills in order to reach their ultimate potential. Colgate University Head Coach Mike Murphy and his staff will direct the clinics which will involve teaching individual skill work, team concepts, and controlled scrimmages. We want to give you the opportunity to experience the tempo and drills of a DI program.
This is also a great opportunity to be seen by the Raider staff, meet the Raider staff and play in our top of the line facility.
Location: Andy Kerr Stadium (Field Turf), Tylers Field (Astro Turf) or the Sanford Field House (Astro Turf).
Camp Details: The clinics will mirror a real Colgate practice, with drills, concepts and teaching points that are used during the Colgate teams’ practices and training sessions.
Camp Staff: The clinic staff will include the entire Colgate University Men’s Lacrosse staff, Head Coach Mike Murphy and his assistants, Mike Abbott, Jud Hall and Matt Abbott as well as other local and regional college. In addition, Colgate’s current players will be involved. A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site as well.
