We stay connected and you can, too. We take an active interest and pride in our current studletes and those who have “graduated” from our programs. Now, you can follow their progress while building your own portfolio of news clips to impress college coaches.

How can you get in the news?  At FLG, we frequently scan online and print media for news of our studletes; but we encourage parents and players to send us articles as well.  We’ll post upbeat, positive news stories that feature the achievements of our players. Send us news about a rivalry game, a photo of an FLG player receiving an award (not just a sports award), a short video clip or an article that mentions a community service you participated in or spearheaded.

Toot your own horn!  Submit your stories via email, text, social media or snail mail. We want to know what you’ve been up to in the world of lacrosse and in the world outside of lacrosse. This is your opportunity to shine. We’d love to hear all about your achievements and share the news with others. Send your stories to: cwinkoff@flglacrosse.com.

Getting in the spotlight, helps you get where you want to go. Include a direct link to your stories in Who’s in the News whenever applying to colleges. It’s a great way for coaches to see what you achieved throughout your high school career. You’ll be easy to follow; all they’ll have to do is find your name among the list of players – it links right back to your featured articles.

See what fellow players have been up to.  You’ll find Who’s in the News by clicking on the Development tab at the far right on our website. Then, select Who’s in the News at the bottom of the drop down list. Or, click on this link:  http://flg.ebricks04.com/whos-in-the-news/
