Pj Clementi, from Huntington NY, Harborfields High School is making major contributions for Amherst College in his first year as a Mammoth. The offensive middie is showing that he is ready for the collegiate level, having four multiple point game contests, and 22 points on the year.
Not only is Clementi contributing to the action, but he is controlling it. The slick offensive midfielder is patient in the dodging game, showing that he has the ability to lower his shoulder, and wait for the bad approach. Taking advantage, Clementi has been known to ice some key goals, especially netting 2 to open the third for the Mammoths in a late surge and big win over Middlebury last week.
Clementi recently dished out a key assist to end the half against D3 power Wesleyan on April 3rd. Ahmerst would go onto win that game by a score of 14 to 9, improving to 10 and 0 on the season and 5 and 0 in conference.
