This past Wednesday, Coach Wink and I were lucky enough to have been invited to the premier of “The Man in the Red Bandana.” The Man in the Red Bandana is a documentary about the impact Welles Remy Crowther has made on the world during and since the horrible terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11th, 2001. The film was a thoughtful piece, which takes viewers through the early life of Welles leading up to the attacks. The film provides an in depth description of what happened on 9/11/01 and how Welles Crowether was able to save so many lives. The last half of the documentary shows the movement that has been orchestrated to remember Welles and what he stood for. A Red Bandana has been used as a symbol to represent heroism, patriotism, bravery, courage, and leadership. From marathons to packed football stadiums, the red bandana has caught on like wildfire, spreading throughout this great Nation. Today, the Red Bandana Project has inspired millions of people around the world!
Never forgot those who died on this day in history. A special thanks to Welles Remy Crowther and the hero’s that fought to save the lifes of so many. You’ve inspired so many and you will never be forgotten. God bless.
